UC Student Visit to FUE
In light of the cooperation agreement between Future University in Egypt and University of Cincinnati, last week FUE hosted a delegation of students from UC for the first time. The students, accompanied by staff members from UC, visited FUE as part of their study course. The students were welcomed by their counterparts from FCBA, FEPS, FCIT and FET. All students and staff members from both universities attended a lecture about Egypt’s history, past and present, given by H.E. former Egyptian Ambassador Prof. Dr. Mohamed Tawfik. Dr. Noura Eissa, Assistant Professor of Economics at FUE-FEPS also gave a presentation about Egypt’s economy, past and present.
The UC delegation along with FUE students and staff visited many of Cairo’s touristic sites such as the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo. The experience was very fruitful and transformational for both universities, which hopefully will be the first of many more to come.
